Lewin, Judy. "Seven Steps to Find our Missing Mom, When all We knew was 'MOM'." Missouri State Genealogy Association Journal XXVII, No 4 (2008): 45-47. Article documents the steps of how I found my husband's mother, after 50 years. Steve never knew his mother's name, where she was born and never saw her photo until 2004. Not only did I find Mary June's grave less than 50 miles away, but another big surprise - a younger brother, John Nathan, we never knew existed.

Lewin, Judy. The Monte Goleman Story - A 100 Year Saga. New York: Ancestry Family History, 2008. The story begins when our great grandfather, Benjamin (Borok) Brown leaves a Jewish shtetl in Kovel, Russia. He purchases a transatlantic ticket for $25 on the S S Barbarossa to immigrate to Ellis Island in 1899. He travels to Chicago, then Champaign, IL and becomes a citizen as Benjamin Brown in 19ll. He and his wife, Mary, have 13 children. This 100 year saga describes some of their children as I discover the adventures of Morris Brown, an infamous bail bondsman; Lottie Goleman, a New York opera singer; and Louis Brown, Champion Race Car driver in 1936. All the sizzling details are documented in colorful stories about our cousin, Monte's ancestry.
